People buy beaters for a grand and drive them into the ground. Will not spend a cent on maintenence, brakes, cooling, oil leaks, suspension, steering. They don't stay to the side roads but probably not on the 407 due to cost.

Why? Your supposed to look head and follow at a safe distance. If the car managed to stop in time, the bike should be able to as well. Although i agree it wouldn't of happened if the driver that broke down was on the right lanes this wouldn't of happened but ultimately its still the riders fault.

Are you freaking guys for real??? Brand new cars break down, old cars break down, planes and helicopters break down. You can't guarantee against mechanical failure, there are LOTS of parts to an engine.

WOW I don't know what's worse the bad motorcycle driver or the comments in this thread. All the cars were able to break and stop safely but doesn't even look like the biker even slowed down. He's lucky to be alive next time maybe he will slow down.

Dubai was mild compared to some other places...
in lots of places in the world, people don't care for others lives like we do here in Canada. Russia is one of those places that people choose to not get involved. Same as china.
