Just wanted to give a quick review of my experience with RTI this weekend.
After doing research on locations and pricing, I decided that RTI was my best bet. They give a 3 hour lecture on Thursday then riding Saturday and Sunday. This weekend was great. I really learned a lot. Gotta give praise to the instructors, Jonathan, James, Jean and Stephan.
The beginning was a little tedious..but it's all about the "building block approach", which really worked. Towards the end, I was completely comfortable with everything I was doing. Apart from teaching us the basics, I found it extremely helpful that they were real with us. They told us about the dangers and what to expect in the real world. The feedback they gave me and the explanations for the reasoning behind it really helped me with fully grasping the concepts of this sport.
Personally, I think anyone thinking about getting there M2 should really consider any sort of course. It's not too expensive, and if you follow instructions and listen youre pretty much guaranteed to pass. With that, you gain critical knowledge from first hand experiences of the instructors, and some good memories too. Can't speak for any other places, but RTI hit it out of the park this weekend, and those guys were great.
Edit: did it at the toronto downtown location
