I just picked up one of these:

I've only had it a few days, but so far it's awesome! It takes a decent quality video, mounts anywhere and has built in GPS so when you're watching the video afterwards, a Google map opens and tracks your movement along with speed and direction.

It also has the time and date stamped on all video.....could be good in case of an accident.

It comes with a 4 Gig memory card which is good for about 7-8 hours, and it records in a loop. No changing memory cards!
And best of all, no batteries! It just plugs into the accessory plug and that's it!

So far I'm pretty happy with it. I'm thinking about putting a video together at the end of the season with all the stupidity that I'll catch on camera.... stay tuned for that!

If anyone else wants one of these things, I can get them for $150 taxes in and I'd be more than happy to help out a fellow biker and get one for you.

Anyone else read the title and thought of Eddie Murphy in Delirious LOL

Anyway do you have video footage example, is it 1080p?

so 640x480 for $150? wow... expensive.

You're installing this on a motorcycle? I'm pretty sure it's not water proof.

With GPS tracking, direct plugging in to the bike and loop recording? Show me something else in that price range that does that.
The RoadEye retails for over $300 and I'm simply offering to help someone save some money if they want one. Obviouly you don't want one and that's fine.
And no, it's not waterproof. I know this so I'm not going to use it in the rain.....problem solved!
