You were a very special torrent download site. In times that a motorcycle, nor friends could fulfill, you were always there for me; providing me new release HD/BluRay movies/tv shows, monthly/weekly beatport tracks, along with the software that has made my computer stronger today. Demonoid was always reliable for super high download speeds (up to 32 mbps), high seeders and minimal leechers. All the other torrent sites sucked.

Now I feel lost. I wonder if I will ever find my new special torrent site again.

RIP Demonoid.

I'm still using IRC.

rogers nabbed me for this.

I really wish I kept my tl account :(

honestly though, spotify and netflix take care with a lot of the media. I still use tvtorrents and iptorrents for the odd movie.

^^ netflix in canada doesnt have as big and updated selections as it in the states. No?

Do you have an invite for iptorrents?

Jailbroken appleTV with XBMC...problem solved all your tv and movie streaming needs in one neat package

There are ways around this as well... I get U.S. Netflix

Newsgroups suck. IMHO.

Not if you have multiple good index sites, and a membership with unlimited usage. I found nearly everything goes on there before it hits the torrents. Speeds on there are usually as fast as your connection can handle, too.

So just me usin' the Napster....

Any particular reason? I've been using newsgroups for years and I love it. Maxes out my connection and with thecubenet.com data block plans, it's dirt cheap

US Netflix is definitely better for tv series. Movie selection is still pretty lame for current release. For documentary and foreign, the two are roughly equal. You can actually access it with a Canadian Netflix account and a VPN service like HideMyAss (www.hidemyass.com) for $5 a month. With it you can also get Hulu, Pandora, etc, or you can pop up in the UK or another country and use any geo-blocked services there.

I have a dedicated WiFi router set up as a dedicated VPN so anything using that signal is based in Atlanta (as far as those services are concerned). Or you can just set up your specific computer, tablet or smartphone to VPN on its own.
