Riding gear advice needed

Hi everyone,

I will start riding soon and was browsing online for some protective gear. I came across the following:

Are these good in terms of value/price?
I want a set of protective gear that I can use throughout all seasons (excluding winter).
Would you recommend them or if not, which jacket and pants should I get? I want a jacket and pants that have the elbow, shoulder, knee pads and back protector.
I will mostly be riding for fun in the afternoon and weekends and I want to be able to ride until the end of October.

Never heard of that brand before.

Pretty much all jackets have the armour in them. Most people replace them with better armour though. Check on motorcyclesuperstore.com as they always have sales and clearances. You can get a good textile jacket for under $150.
 
Not sure if there is a store here that sells those. Every thing fits different from every brand, suggesting you to go to a store and check out different brands to see if the stuff fits you good and you like the quality of it when you pick it up and feel it.

Seems kinda pricy for something that you don't even know will fit you right or like after touching the material.

Your best bet is to go to Royal and GP in Whitby as they are right next to each other and both have a pretty big variety of brands and styles.

I must have tried on 40 pairs of pants before deciding on getting custom ones made. Hopefully your one of the lucky ones that can get something off the rack and have it fit perfectly to you.

I have not used Olympia products, but others on many forums do. I recall very good reviews on the Airglide product line. Search on the web for reviews.
