Rider on the 400 north of 401 .. someones in trouble

He COULD do that... but he doesn't have to. Chances are though, that yes he would keep you there, because then the ticket you would get, would have all the correct info about where to go to contest it or mail in the fine etc. However, he really doesn't have to wait for anyone.... and you could get the ticket in the mail a few days later with all the correct info on it.

Thanks for the info Meta, I hate to be ignorant on a subject I am talking about so I do appreciate it.

Lol!
This isn't ****en hazzard county where you can run to the next region and the cops abandon chase... For ****s sake, why do people here believe this ****!?? Too much TV and video games?

My post never inferred that it was so I am wondering what you are laughing at? Since my comment was based on what an actual policeman told me many years ago I don't believe your sarcasm and insults are required but thanks for coming out. It amazes me how the attitude and rude comments come to life on this forum.

Okay, seriously - cops cars are not quick, they have this magical device called a radio, so that you end up running from one cop into about ten waiting for you up the road.

The new Taurus cop car has 365 supercharged hp. The other ones (Charger Hemi, and the hopped up Crown Vic) have even more, but the Taurus is quicker. Those are VERY quick cars.

As far as the radio goes, if you are certain that no Tim Hortons lies within intercept range of your escape route you should be okay.

If I was speeding like that and saw cherries 1 km behind me believe me that I would not stop until I got to the garage in my house, I would be screwed anyways so why not try to get off scot free?

Don't you ride a 1 lung dual sport? How "high speed" do you think that chase would be on the 400?

Only one way to find out ...

The 'appropriate' action for a hooligan in that sort of situation and that sort of motorcycle, would be off of the highway onto the shoulder, and quick find a break in the fence line isolating the highway corridor, never to be seen again.. hide, forrest, hide!

.

Ecoboost twin turbo, watch out for that Taurus. A "hopped" up Crown Vic? Puh-leeeze. All they do is free up the exhaust to add another 10hp for the cop cars. NO crown vic is "very quick".

I <3 EcoBoost.
Gotta get me one soon.
I think the 1.6L in the S60 Volvo makes a good combo of power and class and keeping the gas mileage decent for a small I-4.
There's no way I would get a Taurus, Flex or Focus (butt ugly) and I have no real purpose for an F-150 (although it would be fun to have).

Apparently the new Focus' are quite nice. All the rage in Europe, but not really found in North America ?

I guess I don't mind the World Rally edition of the Focus, but I don't think Ford will build me one haha.
With my "butt ugly" comment, I was referring to all 3, especially the Flex. *shudders*

edit: I guess the new Focus isn't THAT bad, needs getting used to.
