Rider Down - River Road.

Friend sent me a message about another rider down on River Road this evening. Apparently hit a "new" guard rail. I cant find any details in news media as yet.
No word on condition of rider, but seemed like a single vehicle accident.

Hope the rider is OK.

I noticed that new guide rail earlier this year. It is at the same spot where a fellow ST rider went a little wide onto the gravel shoulder and slide down into the trees a few years ago. He was only slightly injured because he only hit trees and not a steel guide rail. A safer solution would have been to pave the shoulder in that area.
