[h=1]SIU probing motorcycle crash during radar operation on the Red Hill Valley Parkway[/h]
The provincial Special Investigations Unit has been called in after a motorcyclist crashed his bike on the Red Hill Valley Parkway moments after passing police running radar.
According to SIU preliminary findings, the motorcycle was travelling north on the parkway Thursday evening at about 7:30. It passed through radar near Queenston Road and kept going until a police cruiser turned on its roof lights. The motorcycle then crashed at the Barton Street interchange.
No other vehicles were involved.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Police have not released his name.
The SIU investigates reports involving police where there has been a death or serious injuries or allegations of sexual abuse.
 
hopefully all works out. interesting they are saying they are running radar at Queenston, most radar is run the the Greenhill ramps and usually southbound

That's what they want you to think.

They have foot officers using all of these overpasses and some of the side streets from the red hill embankments lighting you up as you go by.
