Ride your own pace

Which is precisely why you don't pay mere lip service to things like waiting at every turn-off, make it clear that you will do so and, as a rider, get the hell out if you see that things are going sideways, or are not as advertised.

It's never a good idea to try and keep up with the big dogs.

I'm a noob, taking my time. I just did a 200km ride out and back again to see family this weekend. First time going that far ever. First run was a bit hairy with some wind but managed. Trip back was more relaxed with better conditions. I made sure I knew my route before hand too because I was avoiding the 400 series as much as possible as I find the lower speed roads/highways to be more fun for me. You get better corners for one thing.

While I was there I took the bike out to ride for a bit and found some corners to practice on. Went through them a few times to keep working on my cornering (speed, entry/exit, etc). I'm getting better at hitting them with higher speeds to really start to feel the lean on the bike.

But I could use a few more spots locally. Anyone know of good corners with fairly light traffic on evenings/weekends around the KW area to work with?
