Ride to Work

I want to ride my bike to work but I have to wear a buttoned shirt, tie, dress pants, and dress shoes everyday. There aren't any lockers in the office....How do you guys ride to work? Do you carry your work clothes and then change when you get there? What kind of bag do you use (I don't want to mount a case to my bike)?

I have an Icon Backpack, i usually put my work clothes in it and change when i get there.

Wear your clothes to work, jacket, gloves and helmet go in break room or cubicle. Easy as pie. Motorcyclists make it happen... I took a pizza and pasta home...

I wear my work clothes, I only change my dress shoes at work. I squid it on most hot days, and wear my jacket on cooler days.
I store my helmet/ gloves at my desk, and hang the jacket on the chair.

*Oh have 2 pairs of shoes, the one you wear while riding gets scuffed/ burnt by the engine heat.

Use a backpack or tank bag.

Keep a stash of ties/shoes in your filing cabinet. Try to get away with normal-looking leather motorcycle boots hidden under your dress pants (keep a shine-sponge at work to clean them). I buy heavy dress pants from Marks Work Warehouse, they're not riding-pants, but thicker material than regular dress pants.

I've tried wearing a dress shirt under a jacket: works in the fall, not in the summer. Too hot and you'll smell all day.

I take clothes in my backpack. Can you keep them near your desk or something like that? Maybe a drawer in a filing cabinet?

Once in a while I leave some clothes at work--best feeling ever, riding in without having to take a backpack.

I bring a backpack but if it's too hot, I squid it. A guy was riding next to me in a dress shirt and pants.

I store my dress pants in my backpack, and my dress shoes are already at work under my desk. I'm already wearing dress shirt riding underneath my jacket. Luckily in the morning it isn't too hot so I can get away with wearing my shirt already. The helmet, gloves, boots etc are by my desk. Easy peasy.

I typically store some shirts (golf or dress) at work and have them at the ready. One pair of pants that I'll wear at work when I ride, and always keep some deodorant and hair gel at my desk. In order to change I just go to the bathroom and change in the stall.

get a less important job like myself... jeans and t everyday!

To drive: icon shoes, denim jeans, shirts, jacket or leather vest, helmet, gloves.

To work: light shoes (stored in cube), denim jeans, shirts. Helmet and gloves i keep hanged on motorcycle handlebar, jacket or vest is in office closet.

No backpack, no trunk, no saddlebags used at all.

P.S. 30km from home to work each possible day, 10km in the city and 20km in the f****g highway.

I just leave a stash of cloths / shoes at work. Upon arrival I find a less populated area and get changed. For things like my lunch that have to go to and from work each day, I have an ICON tank bag. I have a 10 min walk from parking to the office, so the tank bag is nice because it holds my helmet and gloves for the walk.

i keep a pair of dress shoes at my office and i ride with a denim vest and a pair of alpine stars and my icon gloves. i also wear a beanie and keep it locked to the bike. but I see my bike from my desk, so i know it's relatively safe.

I keep a spare pair of shoes in my office but otherwise wear my normal attire to work. Dress pants and a collared shirt.
I wear mesh motorcycle pants overtop of them and regular motorcycle jacket.

I refuse to wear a tie. If I had to have one: I would keep a clip-on in my desk.

I just throw it in a regular backpack and change at work in the bathroom.

I have something similar to one of these http://givisouthafrica.com/en/481-givi-t467-porta-lock-briefcase.html for my work stuff. It's a Givi monolock/monokey briefcase and it comes straight off the bike and into my classes, it was pricey but I think it's brilliant. No need to get sweaty with a backpack on and the briefcase is low profile and doesn't throw the ergos of the bike off at all. If it's too warm and I'm too sweaty I'll change at work (keep a change of clothes in my office), if not I ride in with a mesh jacket. My Velocity black cargos are surprisingly smart so I teach in those too. I don't have to wear a tie, jacket etc but I often do. If it's more casual then I'll wear a Climalite/Climacool golf shirt by Adidas or similar by Helly Hansen as that wicks really well and doesn't show sweat stains etc.

A friend of mine uses a mesh jacket and joe rocket overpants + boots. Carries shoes in his backpack. He wears his dress clothes under the mesh jacket and pants. However, this only works when it's not hot outside. He's given up and GO Trains it in these last couple of weeks because things get way too sweaty!
