Ride to NYC - There and Back in One Day!

Hi everyone,

A friend and I are planning on riding to New York City and back in one day. We'll be meeting at Clares HD, just off the QEW in Niagara Region -tentative date of Sunday July 31.

This is not a ride for the faint of heart. It will be long and butt numbing.

Our last LD ride was to Quebec City and back in one day.

We thought it would be fun to ask if any other riders would like to join us. Just for the challenge and get to tell a good TRUE story.

I just can't imagine riding all the way to such a great city like New York and not at least enjoying it for one night

Avoid the insane traffic and do it in the middle of a US long weekend.

We rode to NYC for Labor Day (our Labour Day as well) and Manhattan was deserted on a Sunday morning. All the locals were out of the city. We took a picture of our bikes in the middle of Times Square.
