Best to set up a new thread for this trip... Anyone looking for a nice afternoon of riding to Kimberley...??

Let's start in NW Mississauga, instead of the Forks of the Credit, so we can ride up there together and enjoy the scenery.

  1. Meet up at 9:30am at Tim Hortons (2980 Argentia Rd, Mississauga).
  2. Head off to Forks of the Credit, and then work up to Kimberley, 10:30-ish
  3. Village Inn Restaurant in Kimberley for lunch, maybe??? unless someone has a better lunch place?

No major roads - sideroads and concessions, as much as possible!☺ - looks like about 2 hours each way...

Hey, this was my idea.

Unless the weather intervenes, I'm planning to get OUT of Forks of the Credit at 10:30 AM - or very shortly thereafter - so move up your start time if you are going somewhere else first!

Sorry, Brian. I thought the post from you was just a suggestion..."Meeting point ... Forks for 10:00 - 10:30?" - it didn't seem like you had made a definitive plan, so I set up a formal trip on a new thread, to make it clearer.

Where were you planning on meeting at the Forks? And I can shift it so that we leave Mississauga at 9:30am....

I can meet you guys down at the forks, might bring a friend. Think you'll be riding the forks around 10?

Sure - sounds good.
I'm new on this site - where do you usually meet at the forks? Maybe at the Credit Creek County Store, on Old Main Street, where there's usually 20 bikes parked on any nice day?

Higher Ground Coffee. Right at the intersection. Final decision on time will be tomorrow depending on what the weather does. I should be there around 10 unless it's wet in the morning.

For October 29th ... we'll take it. But ... I think that's it for riding north of highway 9 for this season. There is plenty of sand up there due to the snowfall this past week.

+1 on the Sand issue. got into some hairy kerry situations up there today

Sent from phone, excuse typos.

Good fun though...and great to have guidance from in front on sand in the curves! - thanks Brian and Matt...
(and nice lunch in Kimberley - can't remember the last time I've seen $5 hamburgers on a restaurant menu!)
