If anyone wants to join, I'm heading out for a ride this Sunday. Possibly 1000km+ and starting about 7am.
I put this rough route together of some roads I would like to explore. I don't think I'll be able to do them all in one day. I don't know if they are paved, gravel, dirt or even too difficult to ride on. I just feel like riding on some different roads. I do know that I would like to see for myself exactly what the Old Nipissing trail is like north of Magnetawan and as far up as I can ride it (Commanda?). I also wanted to ride on Ahmic Lake Road and see what that was all about.
I'm leaving Toronto at around 7am and I'd like to be back before dark. I'll probably pack a lunch so I can spend my money on gas than at a restaurant. I do like to stop every now and then for pictures and stuff
I ride at a spirited pace, but not enough to lose my license - so this is not for the inexperienced or easily fatigued... There will definitely be gravel and sandy roads on this journey.
If you are interested, then post up and we can try and work out a meeting spot.
