Went thru the RIDE Saturday afternoon. No biggie. One question tho. While leaning into my face, as they do, the Fuzz was stepping on my foot applying enough pressure for me to notice but creating no discomfort. If anything a mildly pleasant sensation. It lasted for the full duration of the stop. Was that just poor extremity control or some kind a response inducing tactic? Also he asked me where I was going which I always find weird.

it was a test.

people who are not on drugs would ask the officer to get of their foot.

This thread is not going the way I had envisioned.

Hmm. Possible first warning to him to see if your going to run.

Btw when they lean in it's to smell the booze on your breath when you speak.

They have a mandate to stop you determine whether you've been drinking. They have no authority to ask you where you've been or where you are going without probable cause, and a RIDE check isn't one. Last RIDE check I went through the cop tried to pull that on me. Where are you coming from? <point thumb towards back window> Back there. Where are you going? <point index finger towards front window> That way. Have a nice night. I hope some drunk runs over your foot.

Really? this really happens? Sorry for my ignorance, but I've never been pulled over. If I was and and an officer did that to me I would ask them kindly to remove their foot. I see no reason to allow anyone, police or otherwise to do that.

I guess I'll learn my lesson one day. Util then, the name's Tucker not sucker. Now step off my ******* foot.

:>

maybe he thought you were cute *footsies*

I've been through two. Both times the cops asked if I'd been drinking and I asked if they were nuts. They both replied with "I wouldn't think so. Have a nice night" Step on my boot and I'd have some more colorful words for them.

You know how some guys are pussy whipped? I'm like that with cops. I got all tuned up when I was young. I don't need any extra hassle now-a-days.

next time just scream you are hurting me and fall over with the bike
problem solved

Yea I got stopped at Forks on sat too. He asked about alcohol and insurance, told me to stay put then walked behind my bike a couple of times to check plate visibility (thought he was gonna write me up for it) followed by a general walkaround. To the right I saw a bike being hauled onto a flatbed. Poor fella.

AHHHHHAHAHA, Thats a good one. I wonder what they would do in that case..... I've had to stop for one RIDE ever, on bike, at bay street i think heading to the Gardiner. I didn't even lift my visor, the lady was like have you had anything to drink? to which i replied, nope, not yet jsut finished work. and that was it.

all jokes aside, he probably did is to stop you from putting the bike in gear.

All jokes aside I never took it out of gear.

There has gotta be a joke in here somewhere

Me - I would say ouch.
