Last Chance! Even though the 2013 Ride for Sight has come and gone we've noticed there are still donations that have trickled in. If you have any last minute donations make sure you get them into Ride for Sight before our 2013 online fundraising system closes down on August 30th.
Any fundraiser receiving online donations following Ride for Sight weekend (June 14 - 16), will automatically be entered into a draw for a chance to win a DEWALT worksite charger & radio (valued at $270). This handy little radio allows you to play music either from the digital tuner or connecting from a CD player, MP3 player or portable satellite receiver while providing a 1 hour charge for 7.2V to 18V DEWALT battery packs. It could be yours but you must get your donations to us before online fundraising closes on August 30th! Winner will be contacted after Labour Day.

Community Events If you have a need for speed then you won’t want to miss the 1st annual Race For Sight -happening at Cayuga’s Toronto Motorsports Park on August 24th! The high octane event will bring motorcyclists, stunters and spectators together to raise money for sight-saving research. Gain experience on the track with riders of your skill level, watch the stunt show, participate in the raffle, grab a bite at the barbecue and meet new friends who share in the same high adrenaline thrill that you do. There is definitely something for everyone!
Race for Sight’s early-bird registration is only $135 – that gets you on the track and in the competition, however, if you would just like to check out the fun from the stands you can do so for an easy $15! 13th Annual Bandathon is back September 14th at The Irish Shebeen (5555 Eglinton Avenue West, Etobicoke). For just $5 at the door, the non-stop party will feature 12 bands in 12 hours! There will be special guest appearances, loads of prizes up for grabs and plenty of great live music all in support of Ride for Sight and the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
