Picked up the Alpinestar T-GP-R Air jacket about a month ago, so I've probably got about 1000km on it so far. Got it black, XL and ordered the bionic chest protectors and the Bionic Air back protector.

Sizing - I'm 6'1 215lbs athletic build. Almost fit a Large but my shoulder and arms just didn't fit. The XL allows me to wear a thin sweatshirt if necessary which I like some morning on way to work.

The jacket itself is made very well, no missed stitches, havnt noticed anything wrong with the quality so far.

I bought the jacket for summer, needed something that had great ventilation and this this is absolutely perfect in that regard. Huge amount of mesh in all areas except major crash points. Wore it over the last heat spell with an underarmour shirt and was cool as a cucumber. It is the closest I've come to feeling like I'm just wearing a t-shirt.
The chest and back armor is fantastic, great ventilation in the chest, I can feel the air flowing through them and then comin around the back and flowing through the vent slats on the back protector and then out through the holes in main back protector area and out through the mesh on the back of the jacket.
Protectors are very well made aswell and it was very easy to replace the thin foam with the CE rated armor. Feel as safe as one can in a mesh/textile jacket.
Jacket does come with a nice thin liner that is water resistant and stops the wind well enough on the cooler days.
Only negative is that when I wear my Joe Rocket Ballistic textile pants the back protector gets caught on the back of the pants and it is tough to get used to, feels like jacket is riding up your back, no problem when wearing Kevlar jeans though.
Overall very happy with the jacket and the protectors.
Cheers
