Repair tiny bend in front rim?

Hi. Had a crash and the front rim of my cbr600 is slightly bent from 2 places. By slightly I mean very very minor. And only on 1 side of the rim. The rim is not true for probably less than a centimeter. R there any reasonable shops that could possibly repair this for me? I am on a tight budget. Or do I have to fully replace the front rim :-/

How much runout at the bend? Not sure about Honda but on a Yamaha FZR rim, the factory has a 2mm spec on runout. If there is less than 2mm runout then it would technically be within spec as is.

I've fixed slightly bent rims myself with a big bench vise, a few pieces of wood to spread out or apply loads where I wanted them, etc. This was after receiving a prohibitive quote from a shop to fix it professionally. NO WAY would I do such a repair for anyone else, though.

Hmm...I'll take it to my school's machine shop. I'm sure the expert there can help me figure out a way to fix it.

Worst come to worst, I'll screw it up more and buy one online then :-/

I have had a couple successful rim straightenings done by MAximum Cycle in London

You only have two wheels and this one is out of round.... hmmm... when it wobbles or the tire bead comes off from side pressure you're now on one wheel... and I'm not good on a unicycle.

I'd replace it for safety.
