Removing GoPro mounts

Hey guys,

In another thread, I spoke about renting a scooter in Rome.

I'd like to capture the experience on video using my GoPro. I have the adhesive mounts, but the helmet is obviously part of the rental. I should return it as I received it.

What's the best way to remove the adhesive mounts? Is it actually easy to do?

Yeah, I'll take the suction cup mount for sure, just concerned about it being too "tall". But yeah, that's the responsible solution since it's not my helmet, and likely the way I'll go.

You might be able to find a place on the scooter to mount it on.

Hair dryer and some fishing line, or even a plastic knife will get that mount off easily.

I took a glued on emblem off my cage recently, carefully cutting the tape with a razor and goo gone to clean up the residual.

The other option is the "chesty", chest mount strap. http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/prod...spx?path=1672d40b377ea9503cc4e72ebba33e9cen02 This video was shot leaving Barcelona with a chesty, and outside the city with a suction cup set up for a couple different views.

I just got the first video up on YouTube, so once I get a little further, I'll post a ride report with video links in the Touring section.

In addition to the Chesty mount, there's also the helmet strap or headband mount.

Chesty and head mount ordered! If I don't use them in Rome, I'll certainly use them elsewhere.

Awesome video from Barcelona!
