Odd place to ask this question but I've got a $3.99 charge on my credit card to "RELAY 4723 - TORONTO". Not a big deal since it's only $4. Anyone got any idea where this might be? Tried calling the credit card company but they told me unless I file a claim to dispute it (which they make a pain in the ***) they can't tell me anything beyond what the statement says.

Thanks to a user's PM I realized I bought a (expensive) bottle of water at the Relay store at T1 in Pearson. Didn't know the store was called Relay and that's the kind of purchase I'd forget while traveling.

I know the problem is solved, but if it was really a fraudulent charge, it is not difficult to file a claim -- at least in my experience.

Back a few months ago I had two charges show up on my statement payable to facebook. One was for $1.03 and the other for $309.91. I called them up, told them I have never (and would never) purchase anything from facebook. They cancelled my card, sent me a new one, and had me fill out and fax back an affidavit stating I did not make these purchases. All very easy and I wasn't on the hook for one cent. This was Bridgewater Bank Mastercard (they run the CAA Mastercard).

Yes I've done it before on a different card just by calling them. With this card they have a whole procedure where you first need to request a paper copy of your statement (they don't usually give them), fill out some stuff on the back, mail it in, wait for it to get processed, call some number to check on the status, etc, etc.
