Recruiters for Pharma. industry ?

Does anyone have a contact or a friend that is a Recruiter in the Pharma. Industry ? I have a friend who is looking for a job change who is in Clinical Research (currently working, so not unemployed just looking for a change in job / scenery)...

Unfortunately all my contacts are in the IT / Finance industry and can't help him.

Pharma industry is very hard to break into. I think almost everyone knows each other or has heard of each other. I don't think you'll get any luck on GTAM.

Seriously if you think about your statement it sounds not unlike some of the illegal drug trade. "Break into", reference to B&E and connections to familiar associates etc. Not that I condone illegal drug use, but its ironic how your phrasing is equally applicable to legal and illegal drug industries.
 
I work in Pharma as a Validation consultant so I've been passed around a little. My company only does validation/commissioning/design stuff but I've got a place in mind I could send your friend's resume to. They have a in-house chem/micro/research lab, though I don't know the research people unfortunately. Tell him to send me a resume/brief description at michael.lam@eaconsulting.ca and I'll take a look.

Are you talking about complete job change and back to school? If so, they could look into Pharmacy Technician. Appropriate 2 year course. Average hospital wage of $26 an hour. Less in retail,. More at drug companies.Lots of options, but requires registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, and also requires liability insurance to cover ur buttocks in case you screw up someone's meds ;).
