wrt the news and "new" border crossing rules, has anyone passed thru land crossings like queenston, lewiston?
Have there been any differences to be aware of?
I am crossing sat morning, I have crossed many per year.. but I do have a few skeletons to think about.

I cross Queenston/Lewiston and Ft Erie nearly every week. Have your passport or Nexus and answer every question clearly and concise.

If asked "ever been arrested?" , and you think "I wasn't convicted" , thats a fail ; the question was "ever been arrested?"

They are just doing their job, keep it straight and easy for them and everybody is happy.
 
Thanks! , I have been thru the hoops before.. so I am a bit street smart to what they want... I sort of wanted to know if any specifics have changed in the last couple days.
I hear a couple stories about detentions in the last couple days., but I don't trust the source, the media on the other hand is playing down what is intended, and not reporting on what is happening as I can source anyway,,

Was into NY this morning, nothing changed that I saw. I've never had issues and today was just like last week for me.
 
I am going to Buffulo next Saturday through the Lewiston bridge. Hopefully the only thing has changed is the long wait time.
 
the changes are mostly correlated to commercial crossing, we won't see any changes.
