Received my nexus renewal card.

not Nexus card related, but, back in August 2021 we had a really wicked wind and rain storm (think coming down sideways)...anyways, we had French doors leading off the second floor living room onto a small balcony that had water leaking in...we had a few companies come in to give us a quote on a new door (unfortunately it wasn't a standard size, thank you Mattamy) so we had to get something custom made...we decided on the supplier, had them come in take measurements, get a quote and agreed to go ahead with the install...never heard back from them and honestly, we did a temporary fix and had no problem since...

flash forward to mid January 2023 and I get a phone call and email from the supplier advising me that my door came in and could we be home the next day for the install! LOL...luckily hubby was able to take the day off on short notice so they came, installed it in like 3 hours, cleaned up, took the old door, framing etc. away and it looks amazing...

only took 1.5 years but I now have a new door! :D

I was notified that I would need to pick a date/time for my renewal interview and they would email me when it was time to pick one. Next thing I know my card arrives.

Maybe, they knew you where a biker.
They said, "Good enough, you are fine "
Nice if the World worked like that 👍

I applied (up for renewal) in July 2021. It was approved in September 2022 with pending interview. Looked up interview and the closest one was in Detroit, wasn't going that way, so didn't bother. Somehow back in December, it just automatically got approved and got the card in mail 2 weeks ago.

When I applied for my first card I was expected to go to Detroit.
So I kept calling in case I I could get an early date.
Yep, asked if I could go to Toronto Airport.
I think it was 7 days later.
Went very smoothly. Everybody was very nice.
Not sure but sometimes a British accent helps.
Milked that. Lol 😆
