I treated my self to a pair of big RayBans last year at a 1/2 price sale .

Now these suckers are large and cover a lot of acreage so never occurred to try them with my convertible helmet.

I had a decent pair of polarized I thought I left in Australia as my helmet here does not have a flip down sun shade.

Could not find the $30 wonders and for kicks tried the RayBans with the helmet closed and shield up.
Fit like it was a custom pair of eye shields. So comfortable. no wind leakage and works with the helmet up or down and sure is a real benefit riding under tropical sun.

If you are looking for sun glasses that really cover ....maybe wander by a RayBan outlet and try them...I was completely taken by surprise as they are big and never thought they would fit but the rather thick arms slide right in and are all day comfortable the complete wrap around coverage from glare. Happy rider.

Damn ...the model is discontinued but these seem to be the replacement RB3471

These are closer I think ...there is a shield series .

Ray Ban 55014

No glare at all....really reduces the squint factor in bright sun or those bright clouds day. Makes for a relaxed ride.

Looks... Very euro from 2000s.

Another option for full coverage is one of those fit over sunglasses where you can wear them over normal glasses,.but not sure if the legs fit in the helmet.

My brother raves about the pair he got from Costco.

You get the coverage of googles without the bulk and straps.

These are the overglasses some one mentioned ....I tried them and too bulky and optically awful.

another advantage over built in sunshields ( which I do still like ) is easier to clean and you don't need to carry extra sunglasses for off the bike activities.

Didn't occur to me that large shield sun glasses would fit well in behind the visor.

Certainly my go to now and bit more coverage from flying bugs which can be sizeable here,
