Thank you to all that made SOAR round 2 such a success for us!
Wednesday June 8th
Our Race Weekend started on Wedensday at Toronto Motorsports park where we had a dedicated school day. We spent the entire day licensing and introducing people to the track for the first time on our CBR125 in our intro courses. Experienced trackday regulars and racers were able to take advantage of our stage4 and stage5 courses.
Thursday June 9th
On Thursday we hosted one of our well known "Call in Sick Thursday" Trackdays. We had a great turn out of riders and students. We hosted another stage1 school where we able to introduce the track to a whole new group of trackday goers and racers.
Friday June 10th
On Friday we hosted the Racer5 school at SOAR and were proud to license every single new SOAR racer that competed this round. Our intro students were able to hone the skills we taught them on our race prepared CBR125s.
Satuday June 11th
Saturday our intro students were able to practice all the skills we taught them on their own over the past two days during SOAR morning practice.
Our students then went on to compete in an exciting qualifying race that determined their positions for Sundays race.
the afternoon saw the start of the Endurnace race. We had two students, Paul Skene and Gareth Clark from England that we licesned on our CBR125s on Wedensday. This was the first time ever on a track before this weekend!
Teamed up with Racer5 instructor Scott Rupert they went on to win the 3 hour endurance race aboard the Racer5 prepared R6. The rest of the intro course students did an amazing job being the pit crew for the team!
This was a team that consisted of two students that had never been on track before, with a pit crew that consisted of students with no previous track experience either!
Sunday June 12th
Sunday saw another practice for our students followed by the Racer5 cup race that is the final chapter of the Racer5 intro program.
