Race fuel

How long does U4.4 last after it's been opend? Anything else I need to know when it comes to using this stuff?

Keep it cool, out of direct sunlight and you should be ok for one month maybe a little more. That's my experience with it.

Well I just called VP in Texas and apparently if the lid is on tight after each use it's good for 3-4 years.

Remember to run your engine out of fuel at the end of the weekend's
track event unless you ride week in and week out
Especially when putting the bike into winter storage.
Unburnt race fuels are corrosive to the the piston rings and cylinder
walls when not in use.

Remember that each time you open your storage can.... You lose some
quality in the remaining fuel.

What you really want to do is drain all the race fuel you can, then put pump fuel in the tank, then run the bike so you can flush out the race fuel that is downstream of the fuel pump.

If you dont add pump fuel, you'll lose fuel pressure when the tank is empty and the bike will quit but you'll still have race fuel in the fuel lines, injectors, etc, and they can be harmful to o-rings and such.
