R6 OWNERS - Body work question

Hey,

I have an 06 R6 and unfortunately I crashed it. I need a new tail section and I was wondering if the 09+ tail will for on the 06. Its IMO a nicer tail and its got more pieces. If any of you have an R6 thats a track and street bike you know that upper is scary to put on. feels like you're going to snap it every time. I would assume the extra pieces make it easier or at least less expensive to fix. Anyone got any insight on this?

I think I got a spare 08 R6 tail kicking around you're welcome to try. I can't see why it wouldn't fit. Never had any issues installing or removing them, if you're flexing them that much to get them off, you're not doing it right.

06/07 tail is slightly different than the 08/09/10... not sure if the mounting points will fit but it's worth a try (but I wouldn't count on it).

I have a new 50th anniversary tail, but not sure if that's the colour you need.

The mounting points and seats are different.
