Probably because it was most likely disabled, the first thing I searched on google was Yamaha TOS and that was my first result returned back on how to disable it safely.

That's probably the second funniest crash I've ever seen. First one being on the same corner when the guy on the Harley bounces off the ground back up, walks away, and swears loudly.
