I talked to Nick from Statefarm and he quoted me $267 a month for a 2008 Yamaha R6. I'd say that is a pretty good deal being I'm 23, Full M, Just got my G 5+ yrs since my g1. Liability only though, full coverage would be $397 a month........anyone pay that here under 25?? geez...also is there anyway to privately finance (other than from a family memember) that an insurance company would deem valid for liability only? I assume a bank loan = financing to the insurance company even though technically you "bought" the bike in full from the dealer...

Also, anyone here buy a used supersport from Cycleworld? good experience or not? Just wondering..

I think you posted in the wrong section.

I suggest you DON'T finance a bike but that's on you. Also if you finance your bike, you would need to have full coverage insurance on it.

Check the reviews section on Cycleworld. I think they're overpriced. Private sales FTW.

If you go through a finance company, then yes, you have to have full coverage.
If you apply for a car/bike loan from the bank, then yes, you have to have full coverage.
If you apply for a line of credit and you pay "cash" for the bike, then you don't need full coverage.

A line of credit would also be the cheapest way to purchase this bike.

Good Luck!

I bought an R6 from them. I wouldn't do it again. They lied to me several times, ripped me off on the installed items on the bike and were generally not plesent to deal with, good luck. The bike, they admitted, was an auction bike from the states and sold to me without warrenty, as-is. Luck would have it the bike was a lo km unit and only a few things had to be done to it to make it right after they gave it to me (missing bolts, oil change, air filter, new tire). Line of credit or low interest credit card is the way to go, otherwise it's full coverage.
