1) how does the clutch work what does it disconnect specifically (i know engine to transmission but more in depth)

2) to my knowledge there are 2 shafts 1 for input from engine 1 for output to rear wheel (if someone knows the specific terms help me out) 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th are attached to the output shaft but why is 5 and 6 attached to the input shaft?

3) is clutchless shifting better or worse than using your clutch (i know that with too much pressure it ruins your teeth but with light pressure it does no harm

google is your friend....

okay so crank > flywheel> clutch disc> pressure plate> clutch > drive shaft of gearbox> than output (what is this shaft/part called?)

and am i right in assuming that the driveshaft is directly connected to the clutch disc as in if the clutch spins the shaft spins?

if someone can confirm my thoughts and answer question 2 and 3 thatd be great

main shaft mounts the clutch indirectly from the engines power, the counter shaft transfers power to the rear wheel. all gears on the main and the countershaft are moving, but only 1set of gears are loaded at a time the others just free wheel. if you power shift without the clutch you will bend the shift forks unless you back off the throtle ,load of the engine.
