Wrong area but it's not about bikes.
I have two vehicles that are a total loss and am waiting for state farms low ball settlement offers and another vehicle that is repairable. It was a bad weekend for me. 3 accidents in 3 days and non were my fault.
The repairable vehicle was going to be sold in a few weeks and only has minor damages. They gave me an estimate for just over $1100 but if I am going to repair everything it will cost closer to $2000. Is there a way for me to just take the $1100, not fix it and just sell it for less than I had planned to?
One of the total losses is an enclosed trailer. Is there a way for me to keep the trailer or buy it back from them after I get a settlement for it? I want to use it to store the bike in... the body is still decent only the axle and tongue were damaged badly.
Also do I have any recourse when they low ball be with a settlement offer? Last time I had one I just took what the offered... it was very low. I imagine they will do the same again.
