went to the st. eustache website this past summer and found nothing for TD's or races. though the VRRA does/did race there. found a website for mont tremblant TD's though - looked so bon.

what are the quebecers doing for racing ?

I don't see any Tremblant days there?

Caboose raced/qualified there, he would be the best to ask.

Tremblant.

Fast and flowing, a mix of Mosport and Bogie. Pavement is phenomenal. Turn 1 is scary.... Really scary.

With out some work done to corner one, I would have a very tough time going back there for an event.
The entrance to the corner can be pushed back, wall moved and 50 feet of run off provided. But the owner chooses to ignore the issues.
The track workers do not care about your issues and or problems when it comes to racing. Track day is fine, just respect corner 1 and enjoy the rest of the track.
Awesome track.

Agreed 1000000%.

Great for track days if you can just cruise through turn 1 at 60%. For racing it's just scary. I don't know if I could ride there again with the memories I have.

Just watched a video of the Tremblant track - looks like a very high speed track indeed.

The video had a chicane at corner 1 (at least I'm assuming it was corner 1 - first turn after the main grand stand). Maybe a consistent chicane there would be good for every track day etc?

looks awesome to me! save for turn 1. there is also a wide range of bike rentals available from a basic 300 ninja at $150/day plus fuel/tire wear, to high end exotics with tire warmers at a much higher price....$150 is a nice price even for a 300. but remember its another $325 on top of that for the TD itself...

what are you doing for the summer holidays?

I was always under the impression you had to be invited by a club member for trackdays at Tremblant.

apparently they have some td's where you can go on and off the track at will all day long. they want to know your a reasonably good rider first, hence the invitation part for those td's.

The only configuration they use for bikes is the one with the chicane. Corner 1 at Tremblant is the most dangerous corner of "ANY" track I have raced on. And there's been a few. I also doubt they put any haybales out for a track day. So ,,YES it is fast and a blast,,but Corner 1 needs the most respect one can give. TSBK puts on a great venue and Moto Nation rent only the best bikes. So you could really have a great time if you go there with the right attitude. TSBK runs an event that won't allow just anybody in most cases. You previously had to be referred. Be on your best behavior! Really great bunch!

I've seen some video with a pylon chicane setup near the start finish line, essentially forcing you to slow down to about 20km/h before tipping into turn 1.

It's a viable solution for track days.

That's how it was when I did a track day there. There were cones set up that essentially forced riding through them single-file, and in addition, leading up to this area was considered to have a permanent waving yellow flag ... no passing.

Worked well for a track day. Racing, not so much.
