Pump hogs

^ that is a rough looking LAV
driver's position wheel been IED'd?
or just old?

Technically an "APC".... or "AVGP 'Not a LAV.
Old enough to no longer be in general service.
Old enough to remember when we carried "battle rifles" you could club a man to death with when you ran out of boolits:)

Came around a blind right hander an Southwood, several yrs back.
Taking up both lanes, were - 2 tanks. Dudes in uniforms galore all over the road with guns drawn.

Me: "it wasn't us!"
Army guy: (serious as **** ) We heard you blah blah blah.......then he started laughing.
I figured I was never so close to sawing one off in my pants.
(They were on some sort of 'exercise'.)

Well at least that explains the current condition of the road.

Similar situations happened often...
Best ones were when the small town police would get a call about us...
Never a big deal even though he'd only have six bullets in his gun...
I mean... other than blanks, we wouldnt have any Lol

Interesting comparison - I *think* that LAV takes 200 litres of diesel, and in theory would sound like a TTC bus.

The AMX 13s at the top would take 480 litres of gasoline. Don't lose the fuel card
