Problems with my scooter :(

Idling from a fresh start it is fine, runs up to top speed fine, but if I move then stop at a stop sign or red light for example it runs really rough then stalls. Also, sometimes when accelerating from a stop it squeals which makes me think it needs a new belt.

Took the carb off, jets out, and it looks mint. No varnish or clogging anywhere. No chunks of rust in the float bowl etc. Carb looked brand new inside.

Scooter is a 1984 Honda CH125 Elite, ideas?

Update: There is a knocking coming from the rear wheel at cold starts (99% not the engine) also took the crankcase breather separator off, the element was torn to ***** + whole thing had a nice lining of oil on the inside, could this be the cause? My sister did drop it at low speed not too long ago.

What's the clutch like? I am assuming an auto (probably centrifugal) clutch? Is it properly releasing once you stop? If it stayed partially engaged, the engine would have a hard time running.

I had a similar issue with a BWS 50. New spark plug later and she was tooting again up hills no problem.

It is impossible for me to check the clutch because I don`t have the tool to hold it while I remove the bolt.

Will check that but the plug looked good.
