Hi,

I am a new rider, 30 years of age, M2 licensed, full G licensed, and I am having problems finding an insurance company due to 4 trivial traffic convictions over the past 3 years.

want to buy a 250cc ninja

Thanks.

put the title of the bike under someone with a good record and now you can get insurance! they just need to have their m1 atleast, anybody can go get their m1.

Is this really the only solution? An m1 expires in 90 days? does that person have to take the test every 3 months?

I thought there's some forum rules that disallow illegal advices?

Regardless... That's really dangerous if you get caught, and could stack up your already high insurance. Plus, you need a REAL good buddy to lend you insurance like that.. Cuz if **** happens, it'd be on him as well....

Best bet is to wait until they come off and the insurance goes down.

If you're going to get lots of tickets like that, you need to fight them all and juggle them, so that you don't have too many convictions at once. That or stop getting tickets.

I just went through something similar. Pull your record from MTO to be sure that the 4 tickets show up as Convictions on your record. (http://www.ontario.ca/driving-and-roads/uncertified-drivers-record) If they all do you will likely have to go through Facility or contact a high risk broker.

Not going to be cheap!

I had 3 tickets on my abstract when I got my new bike. Insurance wasnt that difficult I just called around and ended with a broker for Jevco for decent rate. As mentioned pull up your own abstract - its $12 but it will also give you when the tickets with "expire" after 3 years. Perhaps sucking it up with high insurance then cancelling and resigning with someone else once tickets drop off can save you some money. Statefarm wont take you with more than 2 tickets but most other places seemed okay to deal with.
