I had one, very good quality. I never needed to mount it, the thing would not budge...Good price. Tempted to buy one and install into my garage floor.
That's what I used to think until one day the bike was sleeping on the floorI had one, very good quality. I never needed to mount it, the thing would not budge...
Just ride the front wheel into it and hop off the bike. It holds the bike vertical.Never used on of these, if you park the front wheel in it, does that mean you don't have to use the side stand? Or do you put the front wheel in AFTER you put the bike on the center stand (if you have one, sorry MP).
And unless you could somehow lift the rear end off the ground to lower the centre stand, the roll back that's required to get a bike up and on a centre stand would likely pull the front wheel out of the wheel stand. If you did somehow get it in, getting it off the centre stand could be a challenge too.Just ride the front wheel into it and hop off the bike. It holds the bike vertical.

I used to park my CBR125R backwards in mine.I have two. Ones been outside for 2 winters still works well. Sv650, dl650 no problems cbr125 just to small a wheel tire moves around paid $44 3 years ago.
No breakage or rolling out it was still on the front tire but the whole thing had flopped on its side overnight. Bike has crash bars so no damage. Had used it for months with no issues before my bike is heavy up high. Please elaborate! Was it the same one from Princess Auto? Did a weld break, or did the wheel roll out somehow (there's a locking latch to prevent that)?

Yup whole thing was laying on it side bike still in nothing around it just decided to take a nap. 1190 adv is much taller than that Gixxer which must be the reason. The chock itself fell over with the bike's front wheel in it? These things are pretty stable.
