PA has these on clearance, online order only. I've been using these for my small axle Ducati's (916 series, Hypermotard, etc.) with no problems. Price can't be beat, but you need to be VERY careful because they can slip off the thin nuts if you don't apply inward pressure while turning. You can also machine them down to remove the chamfered edge and lower the profile just like the specialty sockets.

You'll also need a $6 adapter if you don't already have one:

I know you are posting this because you use it on your bike.
What exactly do you need it of on your bike? Axle nut?

I see that you list SXV550 as one of your bikes. I'm thinking about getting one. Can you PM. me about that?

Pretty sure for the single-sided-swingarm Ducati models, that's the size of the center nut that holds the wheel on.

Yeah, these are for the two rear axle nuts on single-sided swingarm Ducati's with the "small" rear axle such as 916-series, Hypermoard, etc. with 6-point nuts. I don't know if these will work on the later nut style that has more than 6 points.

I believe this will work for the 848 as well. I know I needed a 46mm to remove the rear wheel on my 848.
