Price gouging on oil

Picked up 4L Yamalube today at my local dealer for $34.50.

Since I dumped the used oil into last years container the price was still on it, $30.50.

Possibly the price is due to oil going up, but $4.00 in a year seems a little steep to me.

Buyer beware, tis the season.

Just get Motul or Rotella, seems to stay at the same price.

From one year ago? Not much. For the most part its hovered around the same amount.

How much did those jugs of Motul go up to when crude whent from $60ish/barrel to $140 4 years ago??

The price of Motul did actually go down in 2009-2010. Prices fluctuate... big deal.

"Buyer beware" the price is what it is.. if you don't like it, sell your bike... or buy cheap Motomaster oil from CanTire and see how far you get?

If that 34.50 jug of Yamalube is fully synthetic then you got a good price for 4L of oil. Get over it.

This is clearly the governments fault causing hyperinflation.

Except the price of crude oil often times is never reflected in the price of retail products reliant on them. Once they go up, they stay up.
