Pre-Season Review: Racer 5's "Speedgear" 1 Piece suit

I went to Fawaz's shop in January to try the new Speedgear 1-piece suit samples on and couldn't pass up on the suit. My initial January impressions were that it was a very comfortable suit for a very modest price. Some of the main things I noticed were:

1) The forearms are very snug. It threw me off at first but after 10 minutes in the suit, it grew on me. I'll never have to make any arm or cuff adjustments anymore, the snug fitting armour keeps the entire upper portion in place without restricting any movement.

2) The lower half of the suit is practically unnoticeable. I pretty much feel naked in the suit. Most comfortable leg design ever. Nothing more can be said.

3) Zipper/Removable liner = easy to wash.

4) Stretch panels in the right places, just as much as the bigger store brands.

5) Design. Nothing overly flashy here. Plain and simple but still a good looking suit. I think my favourite part is the curved/lowered neck collar. On my SPIDI suit, I could feel a lot of friction between the collar and my helmet, but this cut removes that issue, even when hunched over on my bike.

This is a very preliminary review, but I'm looking forward to trying this thing at the track! I wore this around the house for a good while and didn't experience any shifting in armour or padding.

A comfortable, well rounded suit for beginner, intermediate or pro. Contact Fawaz/Racer 5 for suit prices and availability. I know he has some upcoming plans for more colour options, but ask him for details!

More detailed review to follow after I actually use this on the track, but so far these are my initial opinions after wearing it in the store and around the house.
