Practicing riding in a parking lot without mirrors...illegal?

So, I fell off my bike for the first time. While riding around on my street in 1st gear, I guess my hand placement was too high which led to throttling too much and the result was tipping over to the left side snapping my left mirror off. Luckily I wasn't riding going too fast, other than the over throttle, so I didn't hurt myself, but my poor bike...:( I underestimated the power of a 500cc bike, so this is what I get. Sucks.

Now, I don't want this minor accident to discourage my from riding, and I'm waiting for my new mirror to arrive, which will probably take weeks, so my question is it illegal to ride around a parking lot or a neighbor without mirrors? I don't want to just leave my bike sitting for the month.

Any advice or recommendation on how I can continue practicing while waiting for my part and without getting into trouble by the law.

Any and all comments is appreciated.

Thank you.

I believe you need at least one mirror. How are you going to get to the parking lot without riding it there anyways????

Thanks for the reply.

That's my point, and that's why I'm asking or else I wouldn't be riding to the park.

That would look odd for sure, lol. I guess I can try to tape it in place.

Why is it going to take a month to get a mirror ?

I mentioned weeks. I was preferring a month as in this month and that its half way through without riding it if it was illegal to ride without mirrors.

I ordered it online and usually it take sometime.

I always bring my own mirror to my parking lot practice.
Pic below is from one of my practice sessions:

I've been riding for the past 2 weeks with one mirror after my bike was knocked over by some jerkoff while it was parked, passed countless cops, even honked wildly at one to point out that they were dragging a box down the street under their cruiser. Didn't get hassled, but that's my anecdotal experience, not the law of which I know not. If you're gonna do it, just be more adamant about shoulder checking.
