Bike is a 07 cbr1000rr. Has slip on pipe, stock air filter. Now from people who have ridden similar bikes, from your experience is it worth getting a power commander along with a proper tune on a dyno? Or am i pissing my money away? On my previous bike (600) i couldnt tell the difference between stock or aftermaket map, meanwhile ive heard others swear by a map/tune.

Do you have any issues with how the power is delivered at any point in the powerband?

Do you need 0.4% more horsepower over 28% of the powerband?

Is your stock map A:F totally out of wack?

Price of a PC can get you some decent tires. Or track time. Or an hour-long lap dance.

I'd take a lap dance then, stock pipe is good enough

Do it.

I just had my bike tuned and it feels 100000000000000x better than before.
Bike runs optimal at every rpm and every throttle position... Plus I gained 6hp up top.

Before my PCV had roll off issues I loved it. I'm hoping once the new one is installed I will be singing it's praises again.

Dang, I was going to tell you to just get your ECU flashed, but looks like it only works on 08+ CBR 1000's, and 07+ CBR 600's :(
