Hi, I found this while browsing Kijiji.

The ad has 1 photo which clearly has modifications but he says the bike is all stock. Called him and he said he has no papers.

Posting this in case it's someone's bike from around here that has been stolen.

Don't know if this is the right section but just wanted to get this out there ASAP.

Yep, it's bait is what it is.

We should all collectively screw with them - send inquiries and waste their time. Scambaiting is fun.

I'm going to send an "inquiry" now. Since Kijiji now munges email addresses you don't even need a throwaway address anymore to screw with scammers like this.

The Uship listing means someone has actually fallen for this scam and may have already sent money. Kinda sad, but I'm a member on UShip and will see what I can do to contact the "buyer" and let him know he's been taken.

Edit: Ok, looks like the uShip listing was over a month ago...and looking at feedback it looks like the transaction actually happened and the bike legit, so this might have been the original picture that the scammers scooped and are now using for the "fake" listings.
