Possible poll?: Road with the worst drivers.

Not sure if there is poll functions on this board, but it would be interesting to see which roads rank as being perceived to have the worst drivers on them.

401 eastbound is obvious, because it goes so far, but the idiots:distance factor is extremely high on the 410 north. Anecdotaly, I've found drivers are dumber heading into the city than leaving it.

Highway 7 between Bayview and Warden gets my vote. I don't even know how to describe the stupidity, yeah there is a lot of construction but still... I've seen it all; cagers going through red lights when the left turn light comes on, drifting into other lanes when the lanes curve, attempting left turns when they're not allowed to, not being able to properly merge. Plus there are a lot of elderly people driving there as well, yes I consider elderly drivers a hazzard.

At least in downtown toronto drivers are aggressive and somewhat predictable. Markham is full of indecisive scared drivers who seriously don't know the rules of driving. If I didn't have to drive through there I never would.

Steeles between Warden and Markham Road. I am scared even driving a minivan through there.

When I moved to Ottawa I used to have an apropos saying: Toronto and Ottawa drivers are both ignorant, it is just that Toronto drivers know they are ignorant and usually are on purpose.

wow so much hate for Brampton..
i ride on 410, 401 and 403 a lot while commuting to and from work. i found 401E to be filled always with the worst drivers. Alot more than what i find on 410.

But i will agree with bad drivers on Bovaird and i will also add Steeles in Brampton. Bad road and bad drivers.

Because I usually stay away from the highway for long distances, I stay on smaller streets. I find that Highway 7 (Markham) and Queen St E (Continuation of Hwy 7 in Brampton) have the worst drivers.

Every time I head down one of those directions, there are always a lot of close calls of people turning into me or witnessing people turning into each other.
