Possible Insurance Rates?

Im 19 yrs old, living in North York.
Bike: 05 suzuki drz400-s.
Will earn my M2 this coming weekend (through the humber safety course)
I have had my G2 for over 2 years (Clean record), and years of dirt biking experience (not like this counts! )

What companies would u guys reccomend?
Also, what would be a fair rate?

I also would like to know, since u need to havw insurance on a yearly basis, over the winter, is it possible to just put the bike under fire/theft? or would I have to pay the full amount.

Read our stickies in the insurance section. There are too many variables and no one can give you an accurate quote here and neither should you rely on them. Pick up the phone and call for quotes.

would you be able to answer my second question then? I dont know if motorcycle insurance works the same way as car insurance b/c I know parked cars can be put on fire/theft
 
bike insurance is prorated
so it wont make a difference to do fire and theft
we get rapped no mater what we do
 
Motorcycle insurance is seasonally rated unlike car insurance. Contact myself or another member located within the insurance specialist sub-forum. I have multiple companies I can quote you with.
