Anyone know anything about this shop?

They have a bike I want (HD FXDXT).. but here's the thing.. It's a "brand new" 2001 (or 02?) model, apparently the owner purchased it as new old stock from a dealer a few years ago. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this shop because I've never seen a 13 year old new bike before. I checked it out and the bike does look great, but it's also 15 grand. I've seen these going used on Kijiji with 10-15k for like 8 grand, meaning if I ride it for one season it would be worth half the value. Doesn't seem right.

I would only go there for parts in the past. Others I know have had terrible service experiences.

Once I tried to buy a bike from them and all I got as attitude so I left.

There is a reason (or many) Harley pulled their dealership away from them.

Judging from what they charged me for generic Sportster items for a Buell I'd say they're in business to make money. Lots of money. But like the parts guy said "hey at least we have it in stock am I right?"

it wasn't service issues or attitude or pricing that had them part ways with HD as a dealership, HD was pressuring dealers to build flagship destination stores with cafes, boutiques and large inventories and the Poole family opted not to invest several million in a new store.

I have friends that have work done, buy bikes and are pretty happy. I bought NOS parts from them at a reasonable price and they knew exactly what I was looking for and had it in the basement.

OP, your looking at a "new" old bike, unless you want to be the guy that takes the depreciation hit, I'd buy a used one for 5-6k less money. If you want to put it in your office and look at it, its not bad.
