Weird Medicine - Dr Steve and friends discuss medical conditions, treatment and causes that you may not talk to your own GP about. Funny and interesting.

Ok. Anyone care to elaborate on what you find appealing?

I subscribed to Joe Rogan but after a bit I lost interest.

I'm gonna check out some suggestions and get a feel.

I enjoy comedy themed. Bill Birr is good.

SModcast was one of the first pod casts I began listening to with Kevin Smith. I find I kinda of lose interest and then come back after a while. Lol

Joe Rogan is interesting depending on the guest he has, and since his guests are all over the spectrum (fighters, researchers, comedians, doctors etc) not all episodes are interesting to me.
you gotta go through it and pick out what interests you

For those who haven't heard Serial, it's about the case of Adnan Syed, a teenager from Baltimore convicted of murdering his GF in 1999.

Enthralling, when I was listening to it I had to wait each week for the next one but it's all there now. Undisclosed is a separate podcast on the same conviction that digs even deeper than serial and is ongoing. Shocking stuff.
 
Listened to Jay Mohr interview with Charlie Sheen. It's funny and insightful to things beyond tiger blood.

Definitely recommend.

"Meanwhile in the future" by Gizmodo is new but very interesting.

"Skeptoid" is good for those who don't automatically believe everything they read online, or who enjoy laughing at people who do. ;)

"The sceptics guide to the universe" is similar gist to Skeptoid, but covers a lot more topics in each episode and is good for longer listens.

"60 Second Science", self explanatory.

I listen to a lot of news podcasts as well, CBC news & As it Happens.
 
Think I'm going to have to start downloading a few of these...got a long flight next week and need to keep busy during the non-sleep times!

I've got my pod casts downloaded when I'm hooked up to wifi and listen after like a music file.

Don't think you need to stream? Guess it depends on the phone?

I believe it depends on the app that you use for the podcasts. Some of them will allow you to download, and some won't.
