Very interesting and looks kinda cool as well.
But, as with any "electric motorcycle" I just don't see them as a practical option.

Why did they try to make the seat look like it's a gas tank?

"We removed the gas tank but we didn't have time to mock up a storage compartment to put there... we'll just put the gas tank bank for now"
