Please help identify these connectors.

Friend's Ducati Monster has these connectors for battery chargers preinstalled by the dealer.

I'm wondering if one of them is for an aftermarket non-ducati charger. Maybe an Optimate charger connector?

I think the yellow one might be a diagnostic connector from the looks of it. The other two dark red / brown ones should be directly connected to the battery.

Those look like connectors from the wiring loom. The top one looks like the fuel pump connector.

Were these just tucked away unconnected to anything?

They are not connected to anything. Just three connectors tucked away from the rest of the wiring. They are definitely not meant to be connected to anything for normal bike operations.

Without tracing the the wiring back to the source, I don't think it's possible to determine it just from the connector type.

Seems strange to use that type of connector (AMPSEAL) to charge a battery though. They're mainly used for communications. I can't see those 4-wire connectors attaching to the two poles of the battery...

I think the 4 wire connector (yellow one) is probably for diagnostics. The other two dark red ones are probably for chargers...

Be very careful with those you can fry the ecu if you hook a charger to a diag port. And ducati usually has many extra connectors in the harness. If you are not 100 percent sure do not hook a charger to it, could be for options not on your friends bike like tç etc.

My friends Ducati Monster has a battery connector tucked under the gas tank on the right side near the headlight. Double prong one.
