Driving through the crowd may have been reasonable. He sure used a hell of a lot of throttle while mowing them down though. He slowed down after he exited the crowd. Dashcam on that one will be interesting. Maybe some knob pulled a gun and that would completely justify the actions.

Anytime a crowd surrounds a vehicle and starts bashing on the windows its justified to plow through them and get away, period.

Just make sure you got the ground clearance to drive over the piled up bodies...otherwise they'll tear you and the car apart.
