Does anyone know where I can purchase some plastic fairing plugs? I haven't checked a dealer but I imagine they're expensive.

Those look similar to some automotive interior plugs as well.

I would look at Napa or even Canadian tire if your desperate. The dealer will want a premium for them.

I've seen some at Hardware stores. I need a few myself

I know they have a selection of things like that at Parts Source.
My bike has all of them from partsource on it.
You can get different shapes and sizes, I found they are easier to take of then the OEM ones.

GP Bikes has a ton of different kinds and sizes, all in little bags of 10 you can buy. Price was super reasonable.

Maybe you should call and ask first before imagining.

His imagination is pretty good, these are almost $5 each after tax for my bike from the dealer

All OEM brands are between $3-5 each usually

If you buy generic ones make sure you test fit before buying alot, as there are tons if different sizes. Some have larger or smaller diameters and grip ranges.

Fair enough.

I didn't find the Yamaha plastic ones expensive (just over $1.00) but that was a little while ago.

I usually try to maguiver things together, sometimes sturdier than little plastic plugs.

I took one of my yamaha plastic push plugs to Royal, nope, don't sell those. Took it next door to GP bikes, the guy at the parts desk took it to the back, came out with a little plastic container with a bunch in it (was 8 iirc). They weren't OEM. I asked them if they had other sizes and he said they did. I paid under $20 tax in. Was just relaying my experience.

ebay, bag of em for a couple dollars, just don't be in a hurry.

I'm looking for some too. Lose one every time I do something.
Would these work on a ZX6R? I don't know what size to get, 8mm, 6mm, both? Are there 10mm ones on the bike I should have on hand? All the parts guides I can find just call them RIVET with no other detail.

$6 for 10 ain't bad if they work.

Or you can just buy 20 each of them all for $30... http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/aftermarket/XP-4470308.html

The bigger question is where the hell the ones I lost went? Are they mating with single socks in a parallel universe?
