Places to buy helmets in GTA/Mississauga/Etobicoke

I am taking the M1X next weekend (RTI East North York)and need to purchase a helmet before then. I've looked at the sticky on the Dealers forum but many of the sites are outdated or do not list their helmets. I am looking to spend around $150 (the HJC Cl-16 seems like good value) for a full face beginner helmet, but would like a shop with a decent selection so I can try on helmets.

Can anyone recommend some shops in the GTA region? Helmet recommendations are welcome as well.

Thanks!

Check out Royal Distributing or GP Bikes out in the East end (Whitby).
Lots of selection and varying price ranges.

Check out revzilla. It may come out cheaper depending on the helmet ( if it comes within the week)
theres also townmoto (east of dt) and daytona (steeles and jane(?))

Thanks Jimsun. My concern is the fit, and the timing is a bit tight, so its preferable for me to be able to try it on and buy it then.

Thanks for the recommendations Mina.

townmoto (west of dt)

fyp ;) (it's on Ossington) (btw their selection sucks)

GP or RD are your best bets. If you go during business days there's no one in so you can station yourself in front of the helmet shelves and try them all on.

Thanks nfq. I would love to go but they're both a bit far.

Might be worth the trip. If you've never been, you'll see why when you get there.

+1 to Riders Choice as well though.

TBH don't even sweat yourself. I would recommend going to princess auto, get a dirt bike helmet (they're DOT) and use that during the weekend. When you're done, simply return it. No questions asked.

This way you have the whole year to decide what to get.

Princess Auto has a very good return policy that will beat anyones.

+1 on PA's return policy. They gave me a new pressure washer after taking in mine after 10 years of heavy use!

Are you mad that I can utilize something thats being offered?

I mean i didnt do this. I was actually fortunate enough to get lent gears for my rti course because i was broke. Afterwards when the course was finish, I've been investing in gear.

My instructors have permanent ingraved those degloved pictures in my head that i swore to myself ATGATT or cage

Gp Bikes or Royal. Don't waste your time with riders choice since they want full msrp for helmets and majority of them are high end such as arai.

If HJC is what you're after you might want to check out Kahuna on steeles.

You can bring the horse to the fountain but you can't make it drink

Tsk Tsk.

That would be unethical.
